Learning experience
Traditional programs dictate every step. We give you the building blocks – you decide how to use them.

Set your own rhythm
Decide when and where you study, how fast you move, and how deep you go. Full-time or part-time –your schedule, your intensity.
Choose how you learn
Video, text, case studies, live sessions – pick the formats that work for you. Combine them your way, in any order.
Pick your methods
We don’t prescribe how you work, we assess what you deliver. Use AI, choose your tools, defend your outcome – like on the real job.
Full AI productivity, full academic rigor.
Every project comes with a reflection protocol. You'll capture your AI usage, your own decisions, and why you made them. That transparency keeps your work academically sound while you benefit from AI-driven workflows.

Project-based assessment
Every module ends with a real project to apply your new skills. No multiple choice, no dull theory memorization –just work that you can actually show for.

Scientific insight report
Write a short scientific article based on your project findings. Build research skills, analytical depth, and publication-ready thinking.

Live pitch & defense
Present your work and answer tough questions –just like in real job settings. Build argumentation skills, presence, and confidence.
Jumpstart your career
How our partner network jumpstarts your career
We don't simulate practice – we partner with labs, workshops, and companies where you apply what you learn. Get hands-on experience in professional environments, supervised by practitioners who work in the field.

Access workshops and labs for measurement, manufacturing, and testing technologies and work with professional equipment.

Train in a neurorobotics lab where robotics meets AI and neuroscience. Run experiments, test systems, and work on real development projects.

Start your venture
Turn your final project into a real product. Get guidance on business models, funding, and go-to-market — backed by our GründerHub.

Continue into research
Keep working on what you started. Our research collaborations open pathways to PhD programs and academic careers.

How does project-based assessment work?
Every module ends with a hands-on project instead of a written exam. You choose one of two formats: a Scientific Project Insight Report (a short academic article based on your findings) or a Live Pitch & Defense (presenting your work and answering questions). Both formats are graded to academic standards — you prove what you can do, not what you memorized.
Can I really use AI for my coursework?
Yes. AI is a learning tool — for research, structuring, brainstorming, and quality checks. You're expected to use it, but you stay responsible for the results. Every project includes an AI reflection protocol where you document how AI contributed and what decisions you made yourself.
How flexible is the schedule?
You decide when and how you study. Choose your own pace, depth, and learning materials. There are no mandatory attendance times — all coursework is available online 24/7. Live sessions are offered but not required.
What if I'm working full-time?
Our programs are built for working professionals. You can study part-time (8 semesters instead of 4), access everything remotely, and use 57+ Regus and Design Offices locations across Germany as quiet workspaces when you need them.
Is the degree internationally recognized?
Yes. VTH is a state-recognized German university (Fachhochschule). Your Master's degree is accredited and valid internationally – the same legal standing as degrees from traditional German universities.
How do I interact with professors and peers?
Through live sessions, written course support, and project collaboration. You're not studying alone — you're part of a community that continues beyond graduation, with regional chapters and alumni networks for ongoing connection.
